6063 6063A Aluminum forgings forged product parts
Both 6063 and 6063A are forged Al-Mg-Si alloy, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. 6063A alloy belongs to high quality product, its chemical composition and quality are stricter than 6063 aluminum alloy. The two kinds of aluminium alloys have medium strength and high plasticity after solution heat treatment and aging treatment. The corrosion resistance of the alloy is slightly better than that of 6061 aluminum alloy. Good weldability, medium to low machinability of alloy.
6063 and 6063A alloys have high process plasticity in hot state. They can extrude or forge profiles and forgings of various cross-section shapes.
For parts in T5 state, the temperature of artificial aging treatment can be increased to 185 - 200 â for 1 hour.
6063 and 6061 aluminium alloys are universal aluminium alloys in the world. They are widely used, especially in the construction industry. Modern high-rise buildings can not do without these two alloys. It is mainly used to produce light-weight structural parts such as doors, windows, benches, etc. It is also widely used in movable houses, medical and health supplies, office appliances, etc. It is also used to manufacture structural parts with high corrosion resistance, good weldability and medium strength, such as vehicles, boats, mechanical parts, etc.
